Rock Choir™ offers pop, gospel and Motown singing and performing to adults and teenagers across the UK
Established in 2005, Rock Choir was the first contemporary choir in the UK and its unique choir format has created a musical movement affecting thousands of individuals and communities across the country.
Considered the pioneer of the contemporary choir, founder Caroline Redman Lusher has continually believed in her vision of making singing and performing accessible for anyone who simply wants to sing. Her unique and inclusive approach to the choir concept and her caring and passionate approach to Rock Choir members has radically changed their lives. This approach has also gained Rock Choir a huge amount of support from local, national and international media for introducing something totally unique to the UK public – they described it as a “phenomenon”.
Rock Choir is not a franchise but a family-led group of choirs with over fifty professional musicians and teachers making up the Rock Choir team. Caroline introduced the ‘no audition’ and ‘no requirement to read music’ format for the Rock Choir Members. This innovation has had such an impact it is now successfully used by other choirs.

We support many good causes, including
Missing People, Refuge and Sport Relief
Missing People and Refuge are two key charities that Rock Choir supports, and over £50,000 was raised in 2011. Although Rock Choir will always be firmly rooted in each community supporting local organisations and charities, the members who take part in their home towns can also come together and experience large-scale national events like flash mobs, the sellout performance at Wembley Arena, recording albums, TV appearances, Guinness World Record attempts and so on.
Newcomers to Rock Choir can view the Wembley event as it was the climax of the ITV1 documentary "The Choir That Rocks" which was aired in June 2011.
